What to do in Brazil
Brazil is incredible from the ridiculously hot people, to the beautiful landscapes this destination is definitely worth the hype. Here is everything you can’t miss on a trip to Brazil.
Christ The Redeemer
This is one of the seven wonders of the world and people travel all over the world to view this statue. There are multiple ways to get to Cristo, but I think the easiest is by taking the train. Snag an uber and head to to Cosme Velho train station. I recommend you go early, and I mean EARLYYYY! The earliest time slot is 7 am and you can book your ticket here. This is the most scenic route and it is only R$134 or $25 USD.
Sugar Loaf Mountain
Sugar Loaf Mountain gives you the prettiest view of the city. You can take 2 cable cars to the top of the mountain where you’ll find shopping centers, food, and even a dj at sunset on Friday evenings. Regular tickets are $38 and fast pass tickets are $60 USD. Book the fast pass, trust me. You can book tickets here.
Copacabana Street Market
Every night there is a large street market by Copacabana Beach. Vendors take the streets to sell everything from clothing, food, art, and more. This is the best place to get souvenirs as they are significantly cheaper than you’ll find elsewhere. I was feeling RICH here! I got 2 of the iconic bathing suits for less than $20.
